    Thanks to a local cyclist who loves working with maps, we now have a GPS route of the Crow Wing Trail on our web site. Go to “The Trail” and “Maps”. Zoom in for greater details. And although the trail is not groomed during the winter, some people do manage to experience nature’s beauty on the trail year round. Here is a picture of the Senkiw Bridge in all its glory.

    The Crow Wing Trail was successful in receiving a National Trails Coalition Grant this year that allowed us to do more maintenance, redo the stairs south of the Senkiw Bridge, and fix two bridges (1) the Emerson bridge and (2) the steel bridge over the Coulée des Naults between St. Malo and St-Pierre-Jolys.     As if this race isn’t challenging enough, organizers are giving racers an option to go further and possibly deeper. Going south to the Senkiw Suspension Bridge adds distance and possibly more snow to slow you down. (Maybe that won’t be an issue this year????)
