Our maintenance crew rode the trail between the floodway and St. Adolphe. Due to the installation of new power lines along the floodway, some of our signs were removed. But if you keep an eye out, you should be able to find the right turn to continue into the farmers’ fields!
It took them about 3 hours as well, but only due to the fact that it was 35 degrees celsius outside and they were faced with a strong southern headwind the entire way.
There’s some shade along the trail if you wanted to rest along the way. Just make sure to keep an eye out for burrow pits; although it may look like a small pond, it’s very deep! These pits were used for flood prevention for the residents around Grande Pointe when the flood of ‘97 came through the town.
